Cracked Open: The Thing I Had to Let Go of in Mt. Shasta

What if you could hit the pause button and just rest?

Have you ever been so bone-tired that you desperately wanted to stop—but somehow felt like you couldn't?

You have too much to do. Too many people depending on you. Too many things to figure out. And even though you know you need a pause, you don't know how to give yourself one.

That's where I am right now.

In a couple of weeks, I'm heading back to Mt. Shasta, California—and kicking off a three-week sabbatical during my birthday month.

Three years ago, I went to Mt. Shasta thinking I was going on a spiritual adventure. Instead, I got cracked open.

What happened there became an initiation into a new way of knowing myself—one that asked me to release an identity, listen to my body, trust my voice, and reclaim parts of myself I'd been holding back.

Now I'm returning to the mountain with a very different question:

What becomes possible when we stop pushing long enough to listen?

In this episode, you'll hear about:

  • what happened when I stopped resisting and trusted my body's signals
  • how I discovered the power of my voice inside a dark pyramid
  • what it meant to be fully seen in a room of strangers
  • why an experience that initially felt strange became an experience of liberation
  • what Mt. Shasta taught me about releasing an old identity
