"I really, really appreciate all the vulnerability and the connection and the wisdom, not only from Aminata and Barb, but from everybody in the, in the group. And I also found it really interesting, Aminata, whenever you paired us up with people. And it was always the right person or people. It was wonderful. I appreciated the gathering music. 

And I also loved the one word check-in. It really had had you distill your experience and focus, and it was wonderful to hear other people's one words or two words as well. Those were beautiful exercises and the calmness and the meditation and the centeredness, those meditations, you have a real gift. So as do many of the people sitting here with us. Thank you."

"So I just really wanted to thank [grandfather ancestor]  for allowing me to try to honor him in the ways that I can and love him, and know that he is always loving me, as he would tell me. He's like, he will always be loved. So, I'm very happy to have actually said his name because I realized that it so to Willie Simmons.

I'm very happy that I was able to participate in this. I had work meetings on Monday Tuesday, but what was interesting is, like I said yesterday, to, like, come back and check-in in and having these similar experiences. yesterday when I was watching the tapes and taking my notes and, like, participating 100%, I was, like, oh, I actually was there. I don't know how that worked, but definitely, it was like I wasn't even gone.  I felt very much woven back in. it didn't wither away or fall apart in those 2 days that I was gone."
