Join us for our Fall Retreat for Change Makers, Teachers and People of Faith!
Have a Strong Voice for Racial Justice and Refill your Cup.
Racial justice work is emotionally taxing. It requires courage, vulnerability, humility and trust in forces that we cannot see.
This is in addition to constantly expanding our intellectual understanding of systemic oppression and institutional bias.
Yet all too often, leaders go it alone. They feel guilty for taking a breather or giving to themselves.
But a tired leader is a danger to the community! A tired or emotionally spent leader may feel angry most of the time. Lose their sense of humor. Attack others or turn on themselves.
Racial justice from the H.E.A.R.T. Retreat is an opportunity to renew while learning how to be more effective in conversations for racial justice and diversity.
